Henryk from the Back Row

At the 62th Berlinale the documentary "Henryk from the Back Row" about german politician Henryk Wichmann will be shown in the competition "Panorama".
The movie can be seen on February 13th at CineStar-Potsdamer Platz. Additionally the movie will be shown in hearing-impaired-version by our new network partner Easy Listen.
Both versions were mixed in the studios of Rotor Film.

Brötzmann: That's When the World Is Mine

The movie "Brötzmann - Da gehört die Welt mal mir" about musician Caspar Brötzmann is featured at Berlinale competition "Panorama". The music-documentary can be seen at CineStar-Potsdamer Platz on February 10th. Rotor Film did the complete audio post production.

Ijon Tichy: Raumpilot - 2nd season

The second season of the broadcast "Ijon Tichy: Raumpilot" was nominated for this year's Grimme-award.
Congratulations! We'll keep our fingers crossed for the award ceremony on March, 13th!
The eight-episode broadcast was broadcasted by ZDF and is available in stores.

International Short Film Festival Berlin
On November 20th the prize for the best feature film was handed over to Jeroen Annokkée. The prize, a postproduction valued at 8000€, is sponsered by Rotor Film. Congratulations to Jeroen Annokkée for his tremendous movie "SUIKER" (SUGAR)!!!

"Stopped on Track"

The movie "Halt auf freier Strecke" which was honoured at the "Cannes Filmfestival" premieres tonight in Berlin. It's public release is on November 17th.
The movie was mixed in the studios of Rotor Film.

International Short Film Festival Berlin
Rotor Film sponsers the prize for the winner of the best feature film at the 27. International Short Film Festival Berlin (interfilm). The Festival features 500 movies in 50 programs and 6 competitions and takes place in seven different cinemas from November 15th to 20th.

The historical film"Friedrich - Ein deutscher König" has been completed! On the occasion of the prussian kings 300. birthday the movie by Yury Winterberg and Jan Peter will be broadcasted on January 7th (20.15) on Arte and January 16th (22.45) on ARD.

The movie "Chodorkowski", which caused quite a stir at it's premiere at the Berlinale 2011, keeps on winning a lot of international awards. After winning the award as "Best International Documentary" at the "Dok.fest" in Munich, several awards at the "Montreal World Filmfestival", "Warschau Planete Doc Festival", "Melbourne International Filmfestival" and the "Tel Aviv Docaviv Festival" the movie could now win the "Critics Award" at the "Valenciennes Filmfestival.
On November 17th the Documentary-Thriller, Rotor Film did the complete audio post production for, will be in the cinemas.

"Wunderkinder"

The movie "Wunderkinder" by Markus Rosenmüller won the "CGS-Award" in the category "Best Film" at the "Giffoni Film Festival". It also got one of the greatest honors at the "Jerusalem International Film Festival", the "Avner Shalev Yad Vashem Chairman's Award". At the BUSTER-Filmfest in Kopenhagen the movie won the "Script-Award".

Ijon Tichy: Raumpilot - Season 2
The second season of the New York International Film and TV Festival - bronze medal winning broadcast "Ijon Tichy: Raumpilot" (a.o. with Oliver Jahn and Nora Tschirner), directed by Randa Chahoud, Dennis Jacobsen and Oliver Jahn, was completed. Rotor Film did the complete audio post production.
Starting from friday, the fourth of November, the eight new episodes will be broadcasted weekly at 9 P.M. on ZDFneo.

The two-part TV drama "Go West", directed by Andreas Linke, is nominated for the German Television Award in the category "Best Mini-Series". The movie was sound-designed by Thomas Neumann and mixed by Holger Lehmann.
